A custom typeface has been designed for Words of Type, called Scholar Round.
Scholar Round follows the concept of the project. It serves the didactic purpose of Words of Type, with a fun and accessible attitude, highly legible shapes for easy reading, and rounded forms as a reference to the rounded typefaces used in school books.
Scholar Round is currently designed to support languages using the Latin script (Latin alphabet, Latin writing system). More languages are yet to come, even those using scripts other than Latin, which requires script extensions to be designed.
Please acknowledge that the versions of Scholar Round fonts embedded in the type tester below are trials, and have a limited character set.
